Oh no! My computer has left me!

My computer has been having some major problems lately so we sent it in to some tech guy to hopefully fix it *crosses fingers*. Last time we had some dude look at our computer, we lost all of our information. It was depressing.

So now I'm at the library dealing the best I can with a pretty crappy computer. Actually, the computer itslef isn't to bad. It's the monitor that's really getting to me. The screen is about the size of a grapefruit. I thought they stopped making these back in the 90's. (They probably did and just save this one from 1994).

Yes, that's right. I have updated in a week. I think this may be a personal record.

In other news, Minnesota has been REALLY REALLY REALLY cold lately. My hands froze when I was just walking home from the bus stop to my house. In fact, I'm still cold. :( Tomorrow it's supposed to be even colder too. Today it was -17 degrees without wind chill. ARGH.
I'll probably still have school tomorrow too. They never cancel school here. Unless the govenor issues a state wide cold day (like what happened a memorable 6 years ago).

And now, since I have nothing to do besides homework and drawing, some art! (I'm pretty sure you don't want to see my math homework)

All of a sudden, this character has been popping up everywhere, I believe it's when we started talking about the Gilded Age in American History. I think I'll name her Clara.

Ha, I drew this on my first day back from winter break. I wasn't so happy to be back from break :P

Gah! I just realized school starts up again tomorrow. I'm so not prepared, although I did finish all of my homework. I was so proud of myself I felt that I needed to give myself a cookie. So I did.

I've never heard her sound so... smart. It was fantastic though.

Not much going on, though I did just get back from Yellowstone. (had to drive there though- erk!) It was fantastic though. I never even knew there was so much buffalo in one place until the trip. It was pretty cool watching the buffalo come straight up to our car.

I'm really hoping for a midnight preview in the area, because that would be amazing. I still want to see Wall-E and Get Smart though. They look hilarious, and I heard Wall-E is just about the cutest thing ever. When I first started seeing previes for it, I was doubtful, but now the idea really grew on me like some deadly fungus.

Wow, what a year. I can't believe a whole year has already passed since I joined DeviantArt AND it was just my birthday four days ago.
Thanks again to all of my friends who said that online before I got around to it four days later. You guys are the greatest.

My birthday wasn't really all that special, I got some nice presents and ate some cake, you know a normal birthday, and then the day was done. I'm going for my driver's liscence in a week, so you might want to stay off the roads for awhile. >:3

Well, Spring Break has finally wound down to an end. D: And I spent it all in a school learning to be a lifeguard. Yipppee. At least I'll have a job lined up this summer at a local pool.

Now there'll only be one more break until school ends in June. I don't know if I can take it... XD

I went to MOA with my family on Friday after lifeguarding lessons. I finally got to check out the new Nickelodeon Universe that has replaced my beloved Camp Snoopy. It wasn't that bad though. The Spongebob and Avatar rides were actually pretty sweet.
A lot more exciting than what used to be there.

I also went on some classics like the Pepsi Ripsaw- excuse me, Pepsi Orange Streak- and the log ride (soon to be transformed into some barnyard themed log ride *sob*)

I also got some spring shopping done while I was there. I surprisingly found some shorts that actually fit me and go down to mid thigh- not the crotch. Very exciting.

GARGH, I am not ready for school.

Me and my dad have been obsessed with this song lately from the old Bugs Bunny Cartoons whenever there was this industrial scene. We knew how it went (he'd do the bass and I'd do everything else), but didn't know the name!

It was very frustrating.

So we surfed the internet and found it! I highly reccomend it.

Later today me and my mom are going to see The Other Boleyn Girl. I'm really excited! I've alreay read a lot of the author's books and can't wait for the movie.

Whew! I'm finally done with that week. Which means...

ANOTHER CRAZY WEEK CAN NOW BEGIN!!!

Man, I'm so sleep deprived, the other night I slept for 11 hours straight and I still had to be woken up from my slumber. I feel like a bear. Growl.

Today is very gloomy and rainy, so everyone knows what that means... SWEATPANTS AND MOVIE DAY!!!! Sweatpants and movie day is always the best day. I'll have to look through my giant Disney movie collection to find something I haven't watched in years. I do believe Winnie the Pooh hasn't seen light in almost a decade, neither has Dumbo. I'll have to choose soon...

Man, I have a busy week! I have diving at 7:30-9:30 in the morning and then I have to skip on over to home where I can take a shower and eat lunch and then march on over to marching band from noon until 9:00 at night. AND ON TOP OF THAT ALL, I'm in charge of watering my neighbor's yard.

Yay! I'm home again!!!! I feel so relieved I can actually get back to my own bed. My sweet, sweet, sweet, and comfy bed. Sleeping on the ground can be tiring after awhile, especially on rocks. I think my back is all twisted now.

To The Moon And Back Again

It feels like I've been to the moon and back again. So much has happened since my last entry it feels like I'm running in circles. WEEEEE!!!!

It seems the only place I haven't been this summer is my house and Italy. I really want to go to Italy. But noooooo, Mack can't leave the country at all. All of her friends can, but not Mack. She has to be content with Iowa. I love Iowa, I really do! But it just pales in comparison to the places I want to go. In fact I think Iowa's the bomb! I just really really really really really really really really want to go somewhere else.

I'm guessing everyone has already heard about the bridge collapse in the Twin Cities. I feel really bad, I saw it the other day after a Twins game and it just really humbled you. I kept thinking about this 5-month pregnant woman and her 20-month daughter who have been reported missing in the paper and still haven't been found.

Home Sweet Home

We're FINALLY back. After a week and a half of not sleeping in my own bed (or any bed for that matter) we finally came back! Except last night I only got less than eight hours of sleep. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? I was so depressed, I had o get out an old Disney movie I haven't seen for ages (Peter Pan) and watch it while I drank my orange juice.

It was still oodles of fun though, I went to the Dells with a lot of my parents friends for four days. Then we went straight to Iowa to celebrate the 4th as we always do.

My family and I stayed at a condo with two other families at the Dells. It was the Wilderness resort, and I HIGHLY recommend it. We never went off site, there's like 7 different waterparks there and they shuttle you to all of them. My favorite one was the Wilderness Waterpark because they had the best slides. But I also liked the wave pool at the Dome too. My least favorite was the Lost World, all they had to offer was a lazy river, one slide (though it was fun), and a bunch of pools. I'm not saying it was bad, it just didn't stand out in my mind.

Iowa was a blast also. I don't care that people say there's only corn there and nothing else, because its not true! It's also very stereotypical. It's like saying all Wisconsinites are cheeseheads... which may be true...
Naw, I'm kidding.

I stayed in this really small town of only 6,000 and they had a ginormous parade and fireworks display. It was amazing. We've been coming here every year for quite a bit of time now, and we haven't got sick of it yet. When we decided to have our fireworks show, some stupid neighbor got annoyed and called the cops on us. We barely got through half of them, and my dad got pretty mad since they cost a lot.

Then we came home. And we slept. Except for me. I was watching a Disney movie.

Through the whole trip, I decided I want to reread the whole Harry Potter series before the last one comes out. That won't be a problem since I'm already done with the first three. My other goal is to get through the fifth one before the movie comes out. That might prove to be a bit trickier. My friend already preordered tickets for though for the midnight showing! I'm really excited. I also plan to go to the midnight party at Border's for the book.

Oh dear, I'm such a nerd. XD
